Aida Line runs ferries between Kefalonia and Bari, Italy, from Sami's port. Ventouris Ferries also leave from Sami for Bari, Italy, once a week, crossing time 17 hours. Passengers for Brindisi in Italy should board Red Star Ferries, which sail once a week, taking 14 hours for the crossing.
